Employer Description Love Medical Ltd are a small privately owned company specialising in high level healthcare diagnostics, dealing with NHS and Private hospitals as well as Universities and Sports Science teams. Being small allows us to be flexible and creative but is also means every member of the team is a vital cog. There is nowhere to hide but its a great environment in which to develop.
Salary £4.15 per hour (rising to £5 per hour on successful completion of trial period) Hours Of Work 37 hours per week. Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Position Type Apprentice Age Range 16+
Qualification Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Standard plus Functional Skills if required. College attendance will be required once a month.

Vacancy Description

A varied and interesting role working within a fun and close-knit team that will give you broad experience of all service and sales functions within a small business. This role would suit someone with an interest in science or healthcare .  Although the role on offer is a starting position and carries a relatively small remuneration, Love Medical Ltd are looking for a key member of the growing team, everyone that joins us comes in at the bottom and works their way up gaining skills and knowledge to help them contribute towards the growth of the business and their own personal growth.  Each individual has the opportunity to carve their own position within the organisation dependant upon their interests and aptitude.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Providing assistance to clients over the phone
  • Responding to emails and updating databases as directed
  • Liaising with colleagues to gather relevant information for clients
  • General office admin
  • Accompanying senior members of staff to visit clients
  • Learning about the company’s portfolio of products
  • As your skills develop you will be given more responsibility


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent
  • Science, IT or healthcare related qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
  • Driving licence would be advantageous


Preferred Skills

  • Good telephone manner and enjoys speaking to clients on the phone
  • Interest in science/healthcare/IT
  • Positive, “ can-do” attitude


Personal Qualities

  • Flexible approach to work and willing to pitch in as part of a small team to achieve company goals
  • Ambitious and willing to learn
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must be motivated with lots of initiative
  • A sense of humour and the ability to know when to use it


Future Prospects

On successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be the opportunity of full-time, permanent employment with this company
