Salary £3.90 per hour £152.10 per week Hours Of Work Mon to Thurs, 9am-6pm, 1 hour lunch Fri, 8am-3:30pm, 30 min lunch

Vacancy Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to work as an Apprentice in a long established Dental Practice based in Radcliffe.  The Apprentice will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the practice, ensuring all the practice’s objectives are met.

 

Role and Responsibilities

Presentable and customer focused?  Able to deal with a variety of people and pick up new skills quickly?  Have you thought about a career as a Dental Nurse?  You will be completing a wide range of duties involved with assisting the dentist in the care of patients. This includes chair side assistance, ensuring strict cross infection procedures are practiced. Understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Preferable if you have GCSE grades 9-4 (A-C) in Maths & English (or equivalent) but not essential

 

Preferred Skills

You must have a caring manner with a focus on customer service, time keeping is essential and a passion to learn new skills.

 

Personal Qualities

Friendly and personable with a genuine interest in this type of role

 

Future Prospects

This vacancy is just for a contract to do your apprenticeship (approx. 14-18 months).  There may be progression onto a permanent contract, but at the moment the employer cannot guarantee this.
