Employer Description We are a London based company currently servicing the construction industry predominantly in central London and surrounding areas. As a result of our continued growth we have an additional office in Luton and have recently opened an office in Bury in order to meet the requirements of businesses in the North West.
Salary Per Hour £4.50 Per Week £168.75 (reviewed following successful completion of probation period) Hours Of Work 37.5 hours per week Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm
Position Type Apprenticeship Age Range 16+
Qualification Business and Administration Level 2 plus Functional Skills if applicable This is a work-based qualification although some college attendance may be required for Functional Skills.

Vacancy Description

This role will consist of assisting Consultants to identify and match candidates to the positions being advertised.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Advertising roles through social media, existing databases, local papers, CV Library, job centres
  • Conducting telephone interviews and registering candidates over the phone, obtaining references and relevant paperwork to ensure candidates are permitted to work in the UK (Foreign Nationals)
  • Taking new instructions from clients over the phone with regards to new/amended bookings, providing an essential support to the Sales Consultants
  • Occasionally attending site and meeting clients
  • Opportunity to progress to Sales Consultant role and manage own client base/targets/rewards
  • Additional training in basic accounts
  • Posting of customer payments
  • Credit control
  • Processing of credit insurance applications
  • Company credit checks
  • Excel spreadsheet reports


Qualifications and Education Requirements

GSCE grades A–C/4-9 in Maths & English (or equivalent) are preferred but not essential


Preferred Skills

  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Able to work without instruction and use initiative
  • A positive attitude with a flexible working approach
  • Good IT skills


Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a positive and pleasant personality who is comfortable in talking to clients/ candidates over the phone


Future Prospects

Following a successful Apprenticeship you may be employed by the company. Progression can be achieved to Sales Consultant status or grow within the business learning all areas detailed above and additional duties of the Credit Control Manager.
