Employer Description Baytree Park Private Nursery School is a spacious, modern building and is equipped to the highest of requirements, standing in its own grounds of 4.03 acres. Our aim is to make each child as happy as possible under secure and safe supervision.
Salary £132.00 per week Hours Of Work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8 hours per day. Shifts between 7.30am & 6.00pm
Position Type Apprenticeship Age Range 16+
Qualification Intermediate Level 2 in Children and Young People’s Workforce Development plus Functional Skills if required. Work based learning + college attendance for Functional Skills if required

Vacancy Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to offer vacancies for dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Apprentices to join our nursery teams, with the opportunity to develop ‘hands on’ experiences in our nursery.

 

Role and Responsibilities

You will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning/play. This will include:

  • Ensuring safety of children at all times
  • Supervising outdoor play
  • Supporting development through play
  • Preparing and feeding children
  • Keeping the nursery clean
  • Dealing with parents and any paperwork that needs completing
  • You will be supported throughout your training and treated as a valuable member of staff.
  • We will provide uniform garments free of charge.  

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in Maths & English preferred

 

Preferred Skills

  • Honest and hardworking attitude to work and your qualification.
  • Flexible and fun but able to be professional.
  • Able to work as part of a positive team and open to change.
  • You will need to pass a DBS check and provide two references

 

Personal Qualities

Candidates for Apprenticeships must have a passion for developing their career in Early Years and show passion and flair for supporting young children and their families. They will also need the ability to cherish the individuality of children and support us in putting in place the foundations of lifelong learning whilst upholding our high profile.
